FALL2024 Sweater Dreams

Sweater Dreams

Taught by:

Paula Pereira

Offered:

Thursday, September 5th
CLOSED

Friday, September 6th
CLOSED

Experience level: adventurous beginner to advanced

In this class, you will be creating your own texture to knit the sweater of your dreams. It just doesn’t get any better than this. All the details dialed in to your exact needs and preferences.

Plus? It’s gonna be super fun.

In the morning, Paula will lead you through an exploration of different ways to create texture and combine color. This is playing with yarn at its best.

Using a stitch dictionary and a rich resource of materials, we will be swatching, planning and creating the most yummy texture for a top-down, circle yoke sweater.

In the afternoon, we will take our chosen swatch and Paula will guide us through the steps to align it with the sweater pattern of our choice.

Structure and technique will be covered including the 3D underarm mods that allow for smooth fit and short rows that deliver perfect results.

There’ll be a bit of math, but made so easy!

When you leave the class, you will have the swatch, the pattern and everything you need to now knit the sweater of your dreams that will be uniquely yours.
