Could there be any better way to usher in a whole new year of chats on the dock than with the Goddess of welcoming in the New Year? Back in 2009, SUSANNAH CONWAY began offering a workbook she created called Unravel Your Year. It was a wild success and thousands of people have since printed it out and used it to bring clarity and focus to their life. For many of us, it has become one of the sweetest end of the year traditions. (In recent years, Sus created a supplemental 5-day offering for a bit of additional help: Find Your Word).
As she shares in our chat today on the dock, Susannah had no big plans for this project. She simply got a nudge that it seemed like something fun to do and so she created it. This is pretty much her m.o.

Speaking of beauty and light– if you do not already follow her on Instagram, I can’t encourage you enough. Her photos are ethereal and yet grounded in the real world of her life in London. I’m a huge fan and, full disclosure, a long time friend. In fact, having Susannah as a friend is one of my greatest blessings in this world. Being a bit of a loner, rather off the mainstream path in most of my life choices and personal preferences– the world can feel quite alienating at times. Susannah, a fellow writer and Aquarian, just gets me. And, oh my– that feels so good. So, it was a bit odd to have a public chat but we did it and I hope you enjoy it. Photo at the top is the image of the tarot cards she chose that morning on Monday, January 2.
I’m always struck by how open, generous and authentic Susannah is in sharing directly from her life experience. She does the deep dive on her own processes, thoughts, behaviors, actions– and then comes back to the surface her findings with us. Love it.
She is a writer, the embodiment of Lakshmi, a romantic, an insanely talented photographer,an unapologetic HSP –also, a total lovebug as you will hear when she talks about her best friend in life: her sister Abby and, her adored nephews Noah and Sammy. She is, in two words: ALL THAT.*
*yes, am totally biased. 🙂
