Susana McDonnell

“I am mesmerized by the process of creating geometric patterns
and block printing them on fabric. The suspense of finding out
how different fabrics, patterns, colors and inks will interact
never fails to keep me coming back for more.”

Susana McDonnell is based in Boston, MA and a lifelong artist and teacher. She holds a BFA from the New York State College of Ceramics at Alfred University.

She has practiced and taught many artistic disciplines, including, but not limited to glassblowing, neon, drawing, painting, watercolor and just about every other form of printmaking except relief printing, which she has finally settled on.

Susana is also a foodie, a travel junkie and an architecture lover who frequently reaches out to other artists and meets them during her trips abroad.

She loves sharing her knowledge with others and teaches both in-person and online workshops.
