Bios are intimidating to me. I don’t think I’ll ever believe that I’ve done enough impressive things that jump off of a page and make you excited to meet me. I do know that I’ve LIVED! That’s really what this is about. What have I accomplished while LIVING. Here is what has made my life magical and what has afforded us a chance to meet.

I am a lifelong paper crafter and singer. Though these things come naturally to me, I haven’t always valued them. I was afraid to choose art. I went to school to become a teacher, I did not finish. I worked in corporate America for a decade, I was unfulfilled.

Loss was my catalyst. I lost my mother to breast cancer. Then I learned that I had a genetic mutation that increases your chances of developing breast and ovarian cancer so I surrendered my own breasts and ovaries. After that experience I decided that life was unfairly short. So, I chose art. I am a freelance graphic designer and a mixed media collage artist.

What makes me qualified to teach you? The same things that make you qualified to teach me. We’ve LIVED!
