Orlane is a knitwear designer. After working in photography and professional training, she discovered in the world of wool the opportunity to combine creativity with environmental and social values.
She lives in France and enjoys collaborating with local female entrepreneurs. She is delighted to see a network of businesses developing around shared values that respect nature, animal welfare, and human rights. Inspired by a lifestyle focused on practicality and simplicity, her design work emphasizes clean, boxy, timeless shapes.
Fascinated by the endless possibilities of working with yarn, she also loves experimenting with colors and textures. She believes that knitting our own sweaters and sewing our own clothes is a way to reclaim control over our lives and become more self-sufficient. She lives in the city (but surrounded by trees) with her three daughters, who are also, thankfully, creative in their own ways. With them, Orlane shares her love of literature, art, and cycling!
