Kristi Jensen is a metalsmith and maker who has always been drawn to the conversation between texture, color, and craft. In 2017 she founded Birdie Parker Designs as a way to merge her love of the fiber arts with her background in metalsmithing.
Kristi earned her BFA in Metalsmithing from California State University, Long Beach, and has spent the years since exploring how metal and enamel can carry story, memory, and beauty into everyday life.
One of her greatest joys is meeting like-minded creatives and sharing knowledge, whether through teaching, conversation, or simply making side by side. When she’s not at the bench, Kristi can be found knitting and reading, slow stitching, improv quilting, or attempting to master her vintage knitting machines. Follow Kristi here
