Kim Koehler is a Los Angeles–based artist and illustrator whose work blends botanical detail with story and nostalgia. With roots stretching from the mountains of Colorado to the beaches of California – and stamps from 24 countries in her passport – the wonder of the world is woven into everything she creates.
Her art has appeared on licensed products worldwide – including journals, calendars, and greeting cards – and has been featured in Descanso Gardens Botanical Garden gallery exhibits, national campaigns, Uppercase Magazine, and on the covers of best-selling books.
Beyond her own practice, Kim is passionate about inspiring creativity in others. She writes Looking for the Magic on Substack, where she shares her monthly Nature Almanac and reflections on living a creative life.
She believes time in nature and a steady creative practice are essential ingredients for a fulfilling life.
