Episode 1 :: Andrea Rangel

“I discovered that I just love the making of something, he functionality . . . I find it to be the most fulfilling aspect of creativity, for me.”

It really couldn’t be more perfect that Andrea Rangel is the one to launch us into something new. As someone who, by her own admission, requires variety and freedom in all of her creative endeavors, Andrea brought just the right energy of genuine excitement to our conversation.

As I learned in this call, Andrea is not only a terrific knitwear designer who has a passion to fill her wardrobe with handknits, she also recently got hooked by a brand-new obsession: sewing.

“I love the idea of being able to clothe myself all in handmade, completely.”

Part of the reason I wanted to reach out to Andrea today and give you a chance to meet her is that she will be joining us next June.

In the call you will hear how her love of big, chunky, bulky, yummy yarn has informed the class she created for our Spring gathering: Squam Confidential.
