Squamlove Shawl
Taught by:
Orlane SuccheOffered:
Sunday, September 13
(FULL / CLOSED)
Monday, September 14
Experience level: advanced beginner
Oh, lucky you! In this workshop, you are going to get to knit up Orlane’s latest pattern release: the squamlove shawl.
The beauty of this shawl is that it has a simple, very accessible lace + garter stitch repeat which allows for advanced beginners to dive into the making of yummy shawl, but because Orlane will be guiding you all along the way, advanced knitters will enjoy the added challenge Orlane will offer to add additional color or an alternate motif, if so desired.
Though the stitching is steady and rich, it is the unique construction of this shawl where the fun really takes off. Orlane has created something that you will want to make again and again— and who better to walk you through it for the first time than the designer herself?
In this class we will be doing:
- yarn over
- knit two together
- slip slip knit
- double decrease
So if you are not familiar with those, be ready to learn in a warm and encouraging setting.
