Episode 16 :: Karen Templer

I first met Karen at Squam and was dazzled by the attention to detail she put into her table at the Squam Art Fair. Every single placement of scissors, bags, yarn and notions reflected careful thought and intention. As I continue to follow Karen over the years on her utterly gorgeous blog FRINGE ASSOCIATION, I can see that night at the fair was the norm.

Whatever Karen does, she does it with impeccable, unerring taste, style and vision.

Honestly, her posts are so full of ideas, technical help, style inspiration as well as spotlights on fabulous makers— Fringe is truly one of my most favorite sites. I especially love her Friday wrap-ups.

Although gentle and soft-spoken (as you will hear on the chat above), Karen is a true force of nature. How she does ALL that she does, I do not know.

What I know is I am deeply inspired by her passion, her commitment and the community she nurtures so superbly.
