up a steep and very narrow stairway*

Planes, trains, automobiles and stairs are figuring largely in my life right now. 

Last week we were swimming in the Adriatic Sea -- next week we will be walking along the gulf-stream infused water of the Outer Banks.

People are still traveling home and catching up post- SquamItalia so in the meantime enjoy these photos at the flickr site, this one by Ysolda of Sas is just so yum.
