Open Your Eyes
Taught by: Susannah Conway
How to take beautiful pictures of ordinary things and not the other way around?
A photographer's most important tool is not her camera, it's her eye.
In this photography workshop we will explore what makes a successful photograph, starting with a slide show, discussion and demonstrations in the morning, and a photography safari in the afternoon.
This class will cover composition, light and subject matter, and will offer tips on creativity and inspiration, how to train your eye to see "the shot" and how to expand your own visual vocabulary.
It can take many years to formulate your own signature photographic style - this class will help you figure out what that could be, and encouage you to start developing it within your photography.
Our goal for the day is to create evocative images that tell a story and reflect your heart, while having lots of fun in the process!
Level: This is a class for competent beginners (which simply means you have used your camera before and have a pretty good idea how it works!) who want to take their photography up a notch.
