Kayte Terry

Kayte Terry has been a maker and designer for as long as she can remember. She has worked in the visual department for Anthropologie for a decade, first in stores all over the country and currently in Philadelphia at the company’s home office.

When she’s not dreaming up new concepts and displays for Anthro, she keeps busy writing books, making art and keeping her blog, This is Love forever, a journal of beautiful things she loves. Kayte is the author of three books: Creative Embellishing (Collins & Brown, Applique Your Way (Chronicle) and Paper Made (Workman). She has contributed to numerous books including: Vintage Craft Workshop, Bead Simple, world of Geekcraft and Signature Styles.

Kayte’s crafty projects (sewing, paper craft, embroidery-she’ll try them all!) have been featured on numerous blogs such as design*sponge, decor8, Real Simple blog, Apartment Therapy and Creature Comforts.

Kayte is a lover of all patterns, prints and colors and her work reflects this passion. She likes to mix stripes and plaids, natural and manmade elements, neon and neutral. Anything and everything goes! She believes creativity should be fun and spontaneous, something that every person can tap into if they just let imagination run wild.
