Heather Moore

Heather Moore is a self-taught illustrator and designer, who spends her days creating fabric designs under the label Skinny laMinx. She lives in Cape Town, South Africa, with her husband, artist Paul Edmunds, a bunch of bicycles, and a couple of cats.

Paper cutting is often the basis of Heather's design concepts, which then get turned into screenprinted textiles. These designs on tea towels, pillows, bags, aprons and more have become well-known for their simple, clear, Scandinavian-inspired style, and have been featured in a number of published books recently. Since starting up about 5 years ago, Skinny laMinx goods have spread all over the world in stores, and also in the Skinny laMinx online shop on Etsy.
