Five years, that's diamonds, right?
Oh, wood. Well, okay-- that's actually better than diamonds because who'd be crazy enough to sleep in a cottage made from an allotrope of carbon anyway?
And if it is wood we are celebrating in 2012 as we gather for the fifth annual mixed-media hootenanny, there will be no shortage of that in the beautiful cluster of cottages on the lake, each with their own fireplace and wood box.
Also in great supply will be fantastic teachers and super cool classes. This year there are a total of 19 teachers offering a wild and wooly mix of painting, sewing, photography, writing, food styling, jewelry-making, screenprinting and even a SquamLodge! The classes are designed to help you expand different aspects of your work including deepening your intuition, trusting your creative prompts, figuring out color and composition and taking your artistic expression to a whole new level.
