The next time you go outside I would like you to spend some quality time with the flowers or plants in your yard or at a nearby park. Take time to slow down and study their intricate details. Do the flowers have any messages for you? One time the periwinkle flower spoke to me and told me its essence would remove any addictive behaviors and allow you to fall in love with the breath. This may sound a little airy-fairy but try it. See if the flowers have any messages for you. Then go write them down in your journal.
Go outside and pick or buy some flowers and bring them into your home. Create little simple pen and ink drawings of their silhouettes and shapes on watercolor paper. Add those to your nature altar, along with any messages or experiences you had with those flowers.
Again, either purchase or make your own flower essences. Add them to your Nature altar as well. Journal about your experience taking the essences. Do you notice any shift in yourself?
Set your intention on the flower essence bottle by tapping it and writing it out in the journal. See your desire with the flower essence as being real. Feel that in your body, what it would feel like if your wish were totally manifested within yourself. Imagine each drop to be a form of liquid love that was filling every cell. You can also do this with your morning tea, and imagine each sip as doing that. Feel that magic of the plant medicine and the power it has to transcend.
Give yourself Reiki for 5 minutes before you fall asleep and as you wake up. Breathe into your belly and exhale for twice as long as your inhale while doing so. This helps to relieve the body from anything it needs to let go of.
Share any pen and ink drawings (using your gel pens and India ink on watercolor paper) of any of the shapes or botanicals with the group. You can also cut out the drawn and painted images and adhere and varnish them to your wood panel for your next painting.
A pen and ink drawing of Indian Paintbrush, a flower essence to restore vitality for creative types.
I am really loving the work that the group is creating as of late, some things are really catching on! If you have not shared anything in awhile, please do, as its never too late. We can always begin anything and any work in any moment. The moment is the only reality and is always brand new. And of course I would love to see your creative process. I too have been inspired and begun to create a new series for some exhibits I have coming up. Here are a few mixed media paintings on wood panel that I just created this year:
Also, in case you did not know, I have a book that is out that is doing quite well. If you are enjoying the process of this course, it goes into these things and more. The support and love thats has been given has been amazing and I am thrilled to share it with everyone. My intention for this book was that I wanted every reader to find inspiration and tap into their true creative self and heart. You can write and draw right in some parts of the book too and dream away. If you could take a moment to "like" the Amazon page that would be very appreciated, your support really helps, or if you have it a review of it totally helps support it.
