Personally, I love reading her posts because they have this seamless (<--ha!) way of weaving the nits and grits of life in and around her projects.

is it getting harder or easier to see the beauty?

Every day is a new beginning, but for those big life transitions, some days can feel like you are standing on the cliff of the unknown.

More would be even better because the REAL acronym to be using here is TGWF:  Thank God WE are Fabulous!

So much for the dream of that 'quiet little knitting shop' . . . but maybe that's simply the nature of a creative endeavor?

Right now?  I am going to stop, pause and breathe.  And remember how handsome Henry looked standing in the afternoon sunlight yesterday-- for that one golden moment.

Be in this day. 
Be in this moment. 
Be in your life. 
Find every bit that is beautiful and let go of the rest.
And if you have a chance at love?
Do not hesitate.  Jump in as if your life depended on it.

Until such time as a powerful current of self-nurturance runs deeply and unconsciously through us, I would say, YES.  Yes we very much need to be taking the time to reflect on all we are doing well and shift our focus off all that is not yet done, all that may have fallen short of our hopes and celebrate the wins.

Water is poetry and life, and  community-based businesses that nourish the planet make the world a better place.

Sugaring season has ended, but there's a similar feeling for us this week as after a long winter's wait, registration for our beautiful September retreat will open on Monday.
