I have rented a car and will be driving from Rome to the hills of
Abruzzo. Me, the woman who regularly sails by her own damn exit . . eep.
I know, right? Lucky for me-- there will be some good company in the
car to keep me calm and on the good red road.

We just ended our September gathering and, for me, it was truly the best
experience I ever had. However, not everyone had a great time. Both
of these statements are true.

Ha. As if. Five years of this has tumbled me like a rock. I am on
completely new ground and have given over to living without expectations
of the future. I could never have predicted any of this.
SQUAM ART FAIR :: ONE NIGHT ONLY
I'm not sure-- but the way I picture it is that somehow there is an
intensity, a potent reduction sauce, as it were-- of amazing people;
gorgeous, hand-made items all brought together for a very short amount
of time (in an absolutely spectacular location) that results in
something deeply good.
