stepping into a new chapter

My practice for the year ahead is to tell a new story.

I have never taken a class with him, but I am guessing that if he is half as funny guiding a group of knitters through the intricacies of tesselation as he is on his blog, then it must be like having Ricky Gervais teach you how to knit on the bias. As you may already know from his book, It Itches and his blog, Franklin also slays with the quick wit of a cartoonist's quill.

I don't know when she brought back the angel from Mexico. All I know is that our Christmas tree always had her at the top.

Pixie is the Earth Mother guide so many of us crave..the one that gives us permission to listen to the wild calls of our deepest intuitive selves. She is bringing her SouLodge work to Squam this year with SquamLodge. Offerred in both Spring and Fall, it's a chance to sit in the circle of her wisdom and journey into the sub-conscious layers of our selves.

tidings of joy
Last year, I was about to shutter squam. It was simply more than I
could do. To my great good fortune, some amazing people stepped up to
help. I am grateful to each and everyone of them. In particular, the
reason this plucky vessel is entering into this, its fifth year, strong,
true and filled to the brim with gifts to bring is because of these
three women:
Michelle Madden Smith, Christine Chitnis, and Jen Gray. They are the dream team, non pareil.
