She is always a shining example of inspiration to me personally because I know her in so many circumstances and she is one of the most authentic, kind and generous spirits I have ever met.  And let's not forget about how hella talented the girl is!  Ahem.

Even more wonderful is that this Fall, you will be able to actually hold Jen's gorgeous photographs in your hands as her book Brooklyn Makers will be out in the world and you can get first dibs on it with a pre-order now.

Visiting her blog is like stepping into a most wondrous landscape of color, light and exquisite composition.

And then?  We got to visit the incandescent Alix Bluh and experience the amazing shop and gallery of hers:  Modern Relics.  Honestly-- if you've never been, I won't be able to to do it justice.  Alix has one of the most inspiring, organic design styles I've ever seen.

Fiona continues to attempt to devise methods, for both herself and her students, to capture that illusive and transitory moment of inspiration.

 Amy Gretchen is a firm believer that through the lens, we can all see how truly beautiful life can be.

The very first time I met Helene I was completely swept off my feet by her warmth, her open heart, her radiance and her fabulous sense of humor. She has to be one of the loveliest people I have ever met. Truly.

. . .  and she moves seamlessly from one to the next to the next-- picking up stitches, diagnosing the problem, coaching, and supporting.  Honestly-- it's like she's an emergency room doctor only without any calls for CPR.

Pixie has continued to expand from artist, to teacher, into her most recent work and creation: SouLodge which leads us down wild new pathways into undiscovered territories that help connect us with our own mystical spirits.

Susy is truly one of the most delightful people I have ever met. So, part of what I love about her art is that you can feel her effervescent spirit, wit and style -- as they are always present in her work.
